Red light therapy (RLT) and near-infrared light therapy (NIR) are forms of low-level light therapy (LLLT) that use specific wavelengths of light to stimulate various biological processes in the body. Red Light Therapy (RLT)
RLT typically uses light in the range of 620–750 nanometers (nm).
Red light can penetrate the skin at shallow depths, typically around 2-5 mm.
